Well that stinks.well can't complane to much. how do i know if the heads are worth kepping on it?

Look under the valve covers for the casting numbers....

ok got the #'s block id is 1241735
head id is 1241860. thanks for the help

Looks to be an all 73-74 motor and heads.

so how do you tell if they are stage 1 or gust plane heads? sorry new to the game. Are they worth kepping in the car? its a GS 455 car

ZF code is not Stage1. ZS or ZA would indicate Stage1 heads.


The only REAL way to tell, is to pull the heads off and physically look at the valves.
