The 3 core just doesn't seem to cool enough anymore. Works great on cold days and at idle, but at certain speeds it just doesn't cut it.

So what are you all running?

I haven't done this yet, but I am definitely going to. You can get a two-core Summit brand aluminum Radiator for $160!! And your car will run way cooler, we are talking at least 10 degrees. That's the way to go and for the money!!

Nice! I was looking at the BeCool 1" and it's $500 :eek2: I''ve got a 160 thermostat and it runs 200* right now, definitely need a big drop...

I run the three fluke radiator in my 1985 buick regal and a old type fan shroud like one off of a 1974 buick lasabre or something to that similar item and have never had mine run hot and always ran big cams ta508 on the street.

I have used the 951 before, works great on cooling.

I use the Summit universal aluminum in my Cutty. Its made by Northern. I have a 10-1 509 and even during break in when the pipes were glowing it stayed a constant 180 degrees. I think I paid $179 last spring.

That Summit Rad is not a direct fit. You will need to do some measuring and order the one with the closest measurement. For the money you can't beat it though. I was thinking of one for my 71 Skylark, but I think I may have my cooling issues fixed.

Thanks for the comments guys. The Wagon's down for the season now, but I've got lots to investigate now!
