air cleaner swap [Archive]

does anybody know where to get a newer style air cleaner to replace the stock one on 57 buick with the old afb carb. I have tried to find an adapter or something but I haven't been able to.

NAPA has this one, it says it is for larger carb top but comes with an adaptor. The adaptor is available seperatly

I have one similar to the one in the pic. The top is ribbed cast aluminum to match the valve covers. It is made by edelbrock.I think it is a larger diameter

Any NAPA auto parts store can get them. They will addapt any AFB air cleaner to your WCFB or Rochester 4 barrel carb.

Speed shops should have them..

I'm sure you can get them at Jegs or Summit...
