I have a 67 lark woith a 350/350 and i just got a set of used headers from a buddy. I just spent the weekend tring to put them in and they hit the frame. Does anyone else out there got this problem? They came out of a 69 and all was good. Or do I need to buy someone elses special headers to fit this body? I would like to use them because they were free.(helped pull the motor and drop in a 455) Any info on this would be great
Thanks Doug

What frame brackets did you use and where did you mount them to get the 350 in the '67?

I dont know much about your year of car, however, if you decide not to use them, I may be interested in purchasing them fom you for my 71 Skylark. Just let me know, after you have exhausted your efforts.

I heard 67's are like the worst year to put any kind of headers in. Its gonna require much modification /denting (or worse) of the headers to fit. Even worse w/ 455's

I think most headers were designed to fit the 70-72 cars.

Your best bet may be to sell those headers to someone else and then use that money + some extra towards a set from TA (I hear TA's headers fit better than the other brands, they may have a set for 67's (although 67's never had 350's)

Good luck

Check your transmission lines cause those are a pain and get in the way.
