I am currently doing the 350/455 swap. Finally fired her up today! it was a beautiful sound thru those open headers. Anyway, we couldn't get the power steering pump to line up right. When we hooked it up and put the belt on it, it was rubbing on the water pump. I am using the one I had for the 350.
Do I need a 455 power steering bracket?
Is it different than the 350 bracket?
If so, do any of you guys have an extra one laying around?!!
Thanks,
Jeff Kroeger

Yes, they are different & Yes I should be able to fix You up. I'll have to go out & check My stock.......so I hope You don't want it yesterday ! You're wanting the cast aluminum bracket that bolts to the head, correct ?

Captain Mark,
Were there any other accessory brackets that you changed or had to change? I'm also making this swap. I have AC too. :Do No:

I'm trying to remember....................I know for a fact the power steering bracket is different. I believe the alternator bracket is different. I think I used the 350 stuff for everything else. You'll also need a 455 fan shroud.
