I found it, but I'll have to look again. Would this be similar or the same as on a 55 Buick Special?

To find the article, just go to the link I posted above. On the right hand side is a link to a pair of articles on Buick Straight 8's. Click on these and they should bring up Adobe Acrobat and the article. It may be slow on dial up.

The same concept should work on a 55 with modifications for mounting and maybe the rear end. I dont know the width of a 55. Itmay be easier because the 55 Buick is similar enough to the 55 Chevy underneath.
