All, I hope i'm doing this right, computers are not my thing, I want to remove the body off of my 70 GS but I have a major question about braces. Here is the background: The car is a 70gs convertible, it's stripped and ready to be lifted off. (body is reasonable, minor rust under floor with some rust in trunk near wheel wells.) What I mean by stripped, interior removed, doors removed, top and superstructure (thats what I call it) removed. The only thing left is the dash and front windshield and rear quarter windows. I wish I could post a picture but I don't have a clue where to start. My question is, do I need to run a brace from the door hinge bolts to the striker bolt to eliminate flex?? Or will the floor support lifting the body off. I seen some posts with a convertible body on a rotisery but could not see the door area clearly to see if they used braces. Thank You in advance, soon I will get my 8 year old son to show me how this computer actually works.
Thanks Chris,,,,Where is the send button????
