I have a 79 Regal and was wondering if I could change the front grill, lights, to a 81,82 with the duel headlight look. I dont want to change the fenders or hood. Is this possible? thanks! :Dou:

They're incompatable. To get the dual lights you'll have to change the doghouse which means changing the hood and fenders...

i had an identical thread to this...
my responce from bad boat tail That's not a bolt-on/off conversion. The bonnet and front wings are different, and so is the panel above the grille.
The width for both models is the same: 76.5 inches.
but that too bad i wanna do this but keep my turbo hood...looks better then the grand national :-P
and may u answer me this would the trunklid/ spoiler decks fit on no prob or would u have to also swap out the rear quarter panels and rear bumper?
btw mines also a 79
thanks in advance

Rear decks are swapable, as are the front doors, and tailgates for the wagon folks. Note that rear doors on wagons and 4-doors will NOT interchange with other models...

the only double headlight front that will fit on a 78-79 is the 80.starting in 1981 the wheel well openings changed.i ran in to the same problem with my 79.the 78-79 has a wider body line around each wheel opening.the 80 fronts are hard to comeby, atleast in my parts(south jersey)good luck.chris
