73 Rivera VIN decode

Hi all
In the never ending quest for Centurion upgrades :laugh: I have found a 73 Riv nearby. The VIn is 4Y87W3H486782.
The search feature on here has not been working for the past 2 days so hopefully sone will have a link that they can share. Specifically I'm hoping that this Riv has the Stage 1 option. If it does...
a) Will it have a posi rear end
b) Should I grab the Stage 1 heads for my Centurion or because it is a '73 and my car is a '71, don't bother? If they are compatable is this a worthwhile swap?
c) Is the carb any different (jetted for the Stage 1?) or should I use the original one from my 455?

It had a Stage I from the factory, better check the engine number and VIN on the engine to make sure it's still the original engine in that car.

Asuming it is original... What goodies should I be grabbing for my '71. I know I want the posi. Heads/carb? Is these anything special about the distributor? Just looking for suggestions. Thanks!

There will be no appreciable difference in the carb and distributor... 71 heads may be a little better...

In 1973 the Stage 1 option package has the posi-rear end in either 2.93 PT(Posi-traction) or a 3.23(PT). Stage 1 in 73' will also have a beefer cam, larger valves, chrome-plated air clener lid, "specially calibrated trans", and the posi. The same Stage 1 engine that is available in the Riviera was also available in the Centurion. I'm interested to see what you get out of this Shrav :)

If you use the 73 heads you will have to plug the AIR holes, as they will not be covered by your 71 intake
