I know about another ska band, posing together with a Buick :TU:

(But I really have my doubts if we could use the word christian in the same sentence, when mentioning this band.......... :bglasses: )

I reckon a photo will follow soon..............

O.C. Supertones are a fine band.I have been waiting for them to come down here so I can go see them.

From what I have heard too is that if you go see them in concert, you will be treated to one of the best worship times you have ever experienced.

I'm in "ska business" for over 20 years, ..... there are various sorts of ska; two-tone-, SHARP-, 2nd wave-, 3th wave-, original-, Trojan-, skinhead-, OI-..... but I never heard of christian ska. I can't even imagine a concert..... :eek2:
But hey,.... let's continue talking Buicks....... :3gears:

I haven't had the opportunity to catch a Supertones show yet, so I'd die to finally get a chance to see them. Christian bands are always so open to their fans. I had a very good experience with the Insyderz, when I was still playing tenor sax in a Christian band (Planet612). We opened for the Insyderz and the guys were genuinely very great people, and I had the opportunity to meet the guys in the band before/after the sound checks.

It was pretty cool. Probably one of the strangest shows ever was my roomate's band (SOLID 8) opening for POD in a basement of a house in Canton, OH before they made it big. There was absolutely no one there.

Also..........I guess Reliant K is starting to get big. They opened for my band about 5 years ago in nowhereville, PA. And we played with them a couple of other times around Pittsburgh. Kind of fun seeing these Christian bands take off, too bad mine never did, but at least my car does!! :3gears:
