When I turn the lights on, the left flash indicator is lit solid. I get out to take a look and both left front parking and marker lights are out. All others work fine. I changed the bulbs with same results. But when I activate left turn signal, the light flashes. What, if anyone could tell me, is the problem? Any help would be greatly appriciated.
Thanks.

Check ALL of the signal bulbs FRONT, AND REAR, on that side. One of the bulbs is burned out.

The wiring is done in a way that the light stays on when any bulb is out on the same side (not including headlights or backing lights). Other makes are wired to blink faster if a bulb is out.

I don't think it's the bulbs. I replaced the ones I thought were burned out, even switched them around, still not lighting up. The only time it lights up is when I use the turn signal and then it flashes. Other than that , it dosen't stay lit. I'm thinking something with the electrical. If so , how can I fix it.
Thanks

u will need a wiring diagram of the headlight/parking light circuit and u will have to meter & track each wire back to ground, power, and to the headlight switch.
i would check & reseat all the ground wires firstly. u should also check that the light sockets are good & clean at the contact points.

Well, I'm still having this problem and I don't know what to do. The past couple weeks I've had the dash and cluster out so I had room to look around to see if anything was out of place, nothing. I checked the wire harness from the sockets to the fire wall, seemed o.k. . Rechecked bulbs, fine. I don't know what happened, they were working before. :Do No: Please help.
Thanks again.

I would check your light switch too. You are not getting +12v to the socket, so the wiring is wrong/bad. Use a multimeter to do a continuity check. This will verify wiring is good from switch to socket. If that is correct, then your switch is bad.

Sounds like a bad ground. Build a temporary jumper wire and hook to a known good ground and the front parking lamp socket base. The signal indicator lighting up on the dash is due to feed back. Anytime you have a poor or bad ground the voltage will seek the path of least resistance. In this case it is that is through your dash indicator. Good luck! Big Red.
