I finally got a resolution of some sort!
I called YEAR ONE and talked to a returns guy. I told him the problem and he told me that the only real thing that we could do was to send the wheels back and they would reimburse us.
I asked them if they had any other ones that they could send us. They only had 2. And they said that the wheels were on a "NATIONAL BACKORDER" and that they had no idea when or, if at all, they could get us the other 2. ( The guy told me that a national backorder is when "nobody" has the wheels) :puzzled: The reason for this is that they think that WHEEL VINTIQUES is going out of buniess. If not they are AT LEAST stopping production on the Buick Rally.

So what we are going to do is send the 4 wheels back to YEAR ONE and get a complete refund, even on shipping.

What I did when my dad was on the phone with YEAR ONE was that I called COKER. They told me that they had 9 in stock of the 14x7!!! :jd: We ordered 5 before they were gone! That and an extra tire.
I have my spare. :Brow:
Added to that I got them to check the wheels on a balancer, before they are sent out, to prevent further problem.

I hope this is an end to my long wheel problem! :)

I spoke with Wheel Vintiques last week. They are not going out of business, but are having a serious problem with a subcontractor who supplies the centers for their Buick rallye wheels. That issue may or may not get fixed.

If you can get your wheels, and mine balance up OK, then we can consider ourselves lucky, because it doesn't look like the supply problem is going to improve in the future.

Yeah, that for shure.
Like I said, I made certian that Coker checked the wheels on the balancer before shipping. That's why they probably won't ship them until tomorrow.

My theory is that since Wheel Vintiques knows that Coker checks the wheels and YR1 dosen't, then that leads me to belive that they send their good ones to coker and their bad ones to YRI.
You have to wonder how good of a company WV really is if they don't support their products. That and you would think that they would spin the wheels before they leave. :puzzled:
That's just my theory. :)
