I purchased a 71 Skylark 2 door post coupe of Ebay for $4200 a couple months ago. Looking at all the member cars in the gallery I noticed that no one else has a 2 door post coupe. This has me wondering, either this car is a rare find or there is something wrong with this model and that is why no one wants to touch them. I haven't put any additional money into this car and before I do I wanted to get honest opinions from the people who know Buicks better than I do. I'll post some pictures tomorrow, but initial thoughts would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Chris

Is your Skylark red with dog dish hubcaps? If so, that is one sweet car!

The post cars I believe make the best race car platforms.
I'd love to find a nice post car, they're a little different than the norm.

I have a set of quarter windows for a post car, & the stainless is pretty nice.
If your's is in need of a good set let me know.

oh yeah, picture's please :beer

There's a few around, check my avatar, the body itself would have to be more rigid than a hardtop but not as desireable. If you need interior stuff you'll probably have to buy new/repo cause door panels are different than hardtops. They're great cars and may even be lighter than the hardtops.

Thanks for the offer. I might be contacting you later after the engine, carpet, seats, all the rubber and drum brakes get replaced.
