I visited the machinist he is making progress, heads were cut /5-angle/ and valves seated. heads are also shaved .020 . The block was disassembled and tanked. here are some new pics of "PROJECT RIV" more to follow......... :laugh:

already POR 15-ed the engine compartment!

thanks, nice stuff you have to follow the 4 step process to do it right. I found a site on ebay called the por-15 store, they have all the stuff plus tech advice you can read about the different products. I bought some of the high temp manifold cast coating and the stock manifolds look like new! I will be doing the engine too. I'll post some more pics so you can see for yourself.dave

no idea on the mirrors: probably aftermarket from the 70's ; they were on the car when I bought it last fall. dave :TU:
