1955 brake light switch

O.k.,
so i read in the shop manual that the switch is located in the brake line behind the master cylinder on a 55 special, Am i right so far? Well, I think whoever replaced the brake lines, must have left out the switch cuz i don't see anything. Anyone wanna help???? Does anybody know where to buy this switch?

The brake light switch should be on the frame by the left front fenderwell. It is mounted to the distribution block for the brake lines. I bought a new one a few years back at NAPA but any good part store should be able to get one.

I found the switch a couple dyas ago. I tested it and had no power to it. Here's the funny part, I assumed when i couldn't find the switch that the previous owner had just left it out of the system when he redidi the brake lines. To make a long story a little shorter, My dumb ass never checked the fuse panel and there was the spot for the brake lights, Empty as whorehouse after a herpes quarentine.....................................
