 ...its just a lightweight tarp over a regular cover...its cloudy in my area...dont need water on it....as a matter of fact the car has only been hose washed only 2 times in almost 4 years...I dont believe in hose washing a car like this and other classics....unless you realy have too

if u were to put a tarp over a cover wouldnt that block airflow to the paint there fore ruining it...that is what i wanted to do with mine since its stored outside and my bodyman siad it would ruin the paint?

I know ..I know.... :Dou: I have people pm'ing me the same thing ....why????
I also ask myself why....but the time has come...(many rea$ons)
the car turns 30 years old in 2006 ....I bet you he gets it on front page of some magazine in the near future...and he also gives me the privelage of laying eyes on it when visiting Canada...but maybe NOT for a spin around the block with the t-tops off....    ....and it looks its best with the t-tops off....BIG TIME...
who knows ..after I am done with my gs restoration(couple of years)...maybe I find a project pace car..... :Do No: (most likely down the road)

Wow..............you did the right thing...........sell that puppy! Don't get attached to nothing. After all a true Buick guys got to own 'em all!!
Just think of all the models that were offered in 1970 alone. Wildcat, Electra, Skylark, GS, Lesabre, GSX and then there is GNX, Grand National. Now who's got room for 8 cars in their garage?
The best way to get over one is jump out of it and into another!! :3gears:

I understand going through a car when new ownership...shows it will be taken care of...most guys would go cruising immediatley 2 try and impress the ladies...
everything should check out fine....just make sure on the rear brake wheel cylinders...for leaks...the car sat in place this last year..did seem a bit mushy..and make sure 2 check that rear end fluid...2 be honest I never checked it...maybe 200 miles i put on the car myslef in the last 4 years..
man oh man.... :Dou: ....sounds like I'm talking 2 the groom on how 2 take care of my daughter or something here...... :Dou:
