I am not sure where to ask for help on my heater and A/C system, so I am posting here. I want to know what book I need to find so I can learn what all is involved in restoring my A/C and heater system. I just rebuilt the heater with new heater core and all gaskets I got from Original Parts Group. Man what a nitemare that was. Lots of A/C parts were missing from my car when I bought it such as the compressor and I am not sure what else. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance Guys

I'd start with the chassis service manual. The pictures and text are pretty complete, although not always as easy to read as a best seller!

Thanks Bill,
I need to find and purchase a Chassis service manual. I will look through some old messages I have been saving. I was putting off buying one, but the time is now. Thanks Bill. Take care.

Thanks to John Everett for the info that he sent me a while ago I have located the manual I need. I am now looking for an A/C condensor on the parts wanted segment. I love driving my 65 GS, tonight I drove it to work, coming home from work and it was raining and cold. I turned the windshield wipers on and they worked, I turned the heater on and it worked, thanks to all who have helped me from day one on this forum I am able to go back in time to the years of real horsepower and comfort.
