Hey Ray, heard your story about the one in SD. That SUCKS. Any interest in a '73 Regal with a 455? Another board member has one in CA, and for a lot less than 3500. As it is a Regal, it would have the formal roof line, not the large rear quarter windows.

$4100 for a roadworthy car in excellent shape sounds like a decent deal to me ... especially if it's something you want.
but if the market won't support that price (see thumper's post) who am i to argue?

I think it's worth it. But I thought you were only gonna get a GS? :Do No:

if the car is in pristine condition i think it would be worth it. here is the 73 i found locally for $500.. granted that's pretty cheap but the car does have it's downsides, like little dents all over the place (the decklid got hit at some point and buckled a little bit). it had a little over 80,ooo original miles.. we did work on it but now i need to sell it. :(
but it seems like 73+ buicks pop up on craigslist all the time for pretty damn cheap.. at least on the seattle or portland sites

Did you buy that.
If not.. I would... a good deal.
i wanted a gs but i will take what i can find, this car was on ebay highest bid being 1800.00 i went to 3000.00 still didnt meet reserve. called them and aske d them what did they have to have.52000 miles original ,looks flawless, hopefully is when i get it, interior looks mint, under doors rust free, engine compartment clean as a whistle.one owner.when i get it ill let yah no if there was any surprises. color is not favorite but rims and tires on it would do a world of difference plus the 455 im putting in it. will be a nice sleeper with the air on. hehe.thanks Ray

I just keep thinking about the 73GS 455 4spd Blk/wht bucket seats car I saw for sale a couple years ago that I didn't bite on. I'm not nuts on the Kojak body style but it's growing on me the more you guys talk about it.
