I've got a 70 GS 455 that I have beeen building up. It has the TA stage 2 aluminum heads, KenneBell cam - 245 ,268 at .050 108 lobe center with approximately .540 lift @1.6 ratio, 850 Speed Demon, TA header, with 3" exhaust, 1.6 roller rockers from TA , SP1 intake, Coan 3000 stall converter with a 12bolt 3.91 gear posi.
Any suggestions on improving my combination for racing but still be pretty driveable on the street. Thanks!

I could be wrong, but I believe that particular KB cam was designed specifically for iron Stage 1 heads with exhaust manifolds! That's why there's such a big spread in duration (favoring the exhaust).
Check out something like the TA 290-08H - http://taperformance.com/camshaft.htm

Thanks for the suggestions. For now i think I will check into a different cam and maybe a holley 950 carb! It sounds like upper adjustable control arms would help me hook up better.
