I have a 64 Lesabre and im trying to put some a set of chrome Buick wheels on it my problem is on the 64 the hub (I think thats what its called ) that holds the drum is different from the 65 Lesabre/ Wildcat and wont let the rim sit flush with the drum, the rear rims fit ok because there is no hub its the fronts that im having problems with, im trying to make my car look like this(see pic) are there after market hubs i can use to or would I have to switch the to the 65 hub to make it fit and if so, who has the 65 parts, thanks

Maybe the center hole on the rim is too small? :Do No:

that is the case the center hole is too small , but all the rims center holes are the same, I've tried several different rims from different years and no good the hub were the bearing are is different from 64 to 65 , so i figuired I could change the hub cause i wouldnt know how or who could increase the sizes of the rim hole for me

I would leave the rims alone. You could either use different hubs or have yours machined smaller if the difference isn't too much. I don't know a whole lot about what fits and what doesn't on your car, but my bet is that a later year hub may work. :bglasses:

Calvin, we put the Buick Road wheels on a '56 Special and had to take a grinder to the hubs on the front to get them to fit. Ask "The Old Guy" as he did it! May be the same on the '64.
