They should be fine. I wouldn't go any shorter on the sidewall. I did and didn't like the way the car drove so I went back to the Buick rallys. Mike D.

 No, 16" is about as far as I will go on this one. I like the classic look of the 14" wire covers and the white walls but also like the wider lower stance of a 225-60-16 to take full advantage of the large front and rear sway bars :Brow: , AL.

Does anyone know the offset on my stock 14X6 115mm bolt circle plain stock wheels on a 1984 Century wagon? (the new wheels are 16X6 1/2 with a 52mm offset and 115mm bolt circle) Thanks AL.

Hey AL they look good but I hope they fit....may have to go with a smaller tire like 215/55. I tried to put bigger tires on my 85 wagon and ran into interference issues.
If you can't get em to work I could use them on my 98 Regal GS. :Brow:

Bruce, what size did you have a problem with and was you Century wagon a FWD or a RWD? Was the problem in the front or rear? I have 215-70-14 on there now with a lot of room. AL.

It was on FWD 85 Century wagon. Can't remember the exact size but I believe it was like the next size up. Alot of the FWD cars have little tolerance for bigger tires (esp taller)....sometimes the will hit the strut and not have a chance and other cases hit the inner fenders on turns.

The guy said they will not fit :ball: . Here is what he posted....hello,
these will not fit,you need lower offset.thank you
One other question, do you know the back spacing or offset on the plain factory 14X6 wheels. The 1984 FWD Century wagon has 14X6 115mm 5 lug bolt circle but I don't know the offset, do you know the offset? Thanks AL.
