I leaned to drive on a manual and owned a manual 4 speed for years
Why isn't there a sticky about swapping a manual into an automatic powered Buick here?
Also, how much is an M-21 that needs rebuilding worth? I'm seeing prices of 500 dollars

I think we need a sticky here.
Price range is $400-$550US depending upon condition and circumstances. However you will often see Muncies advertised for $600-$750, value and condition is difficult to judge. A rebuild kit is just under $150.

Back TTT.
Chris, I agree. There needs to be a sticky on the conversion. Parts you would need, interchange parts (ie: 'you could use a Z bar from X car, but need to modify it....') and maybe some testimony from people who have accomplished the swap (as I found several in a search).
George N: maybe a good topic for BuickPerformance.com?

Chris, I sold an M-21 2-3 yrs ago for $400. Needed rebuild I'm sure, but it was under 70k miles, had been sitting outside mostly for 20+ yrs. Not an ebay sale, just a private deal with another board member.
