Can anyone recommend a supplier of .010 425 Main Bearings at a reasonable price ?In Australia I can buy Std Clevite Bearings for A$ 96.00 but .010 skyrocket to A$ 380.00. I see Kanters have sets for US$ 95.00 (A$172.00). Even with freight and Customs
I reckon I would save a fair bit.

First check with Carmen Faso - 716-695-7144
You also might try Egge Machine. I don't have a number, and have never purchased anything from them. I would guess some of the other regular Buick parts suppliers may have, or could get them. Like TA performance or Poston.

I don't remember what I paid for my bearing set, but I recall it was not cheap. Mine were .010 under too.

Thanks, I will try them. I've had dealings with Postons and found
Tony very helpful and received goods in Australia within a couple of weeks

I think a good place to look is Classic Buick in Chino, CA. On their web site they list bearing sets for these motors at a fair price. I didn't know about them when I got mine and Egge Machine sold a vendor a set who sold them to me and they were about $300. Good Luck!!

I use a place in country Victoria (Bendigo or Ballarrat or somewhere like that) called Detroit Auto Parts. They seem like good blokes and have helped me with lots of parts for my 401.

Give them a ring on 03-53333789

Or you can try Uncle Sams Auto Parts in Adelaide SA I've also bought parts from him 08-82649556
