Alright, the GS I just got has a Carter AFB. Last night, while I was at a local hangout getting some ice cream, the throttle cable came apart as i went to start the car up.
No big deal, I got another one from someone local. The throttle cable end that was on there was not an original style but instead a screw on style. I'd like to go back to the original style connector so I dont have this same problem again but, in the course of switching, I am having a dumb problem...
I can't get the end off of the ball it attaches to on the carb :rant: !
I've pulled, pried, and prayed that it would come apart to no avail. DO these come apart or is the reason its not original because this is one piece built in together? Can I get just the ball so i can use the original style cable?
