Im considering using a 16x8 s-10 rim on my '69 Skylark, has anyone put this size on a stock car? and were there any problems with backspacing or turning radius in the wheel housing itself? Thanks for any thoughts.

P.S.-What would be a good tire size for this to prevent rubbing and get good traction? :3gears:

I am curious about this as well. If ya' roll the fender lip, how tall & fat can you go?

I have a friend with a '72 Chevelle, when he put big tires on his car he had rubbing in the rear wells. What we did was cut a small sliver fro mthe wheel lip. If you have chrome trim around your wheelwells you can see this small sliver of painted metal that sticks past the trim. Now this worked fine for us on this car and a bigger tire, I dont know how much of a difference the larger rim/tire combo will make.
