Greg,
I got your email. Wow, the 22nd came faster than expected. But thats a good thing. This ends one chapter in your life, to begin a healthier and more fun chapter full of friends, family and buicks. :) I am still looking forward to going junkyard hopping with you as i've never set foot in one my entire life. Greg you are a great, brave man and I will be praying extra hard for you. :)

Ouch. Good luck. I've only known a few people to have this done, but they said it helped them a lot. When you get out of surgery and the doctor is there, pretend the operation mysteriously changed which hand is dominant.

Greg, you have prayers from a couple of flatlanders out here!! Keep a good attitude and get better fast. I want to see you at Bruce and Shirl's shindig next year!!

My Grandma had her leg amputated just above the knee when she was nearly 80. I was there in the recovery room with her when she came out. I asked her "How do you feel?" To which she replied, in true Gramma fashion, "I feel okay, but I think I have a limp!"

That is the kind of attitude you need to have. Don't let it get you down. You will come out of this better than before.

he showed me where to get on and let you guys know he still lives
sitting in a study hale now with a teacher watching me do this
good thing he's a friend of the old man and is on this site once in awhile as well ; - )
anyways
my Dad is doing great
they said 10 days and we got him home on saturday
3 days
doctor said he's a nut and to keep him going
tested out of the rehabe to come home in one day
doctor just shock his head and said to get him out of here
there are other people that realy need them and shock all our hands
they fused all 4 vertabra adn the doctor said it was the worst one he ever did in all the years he's been doing it
the cancer ait a hole threw muscle and the cartlidge and some of the bone was gone as well
said he shouldn't even be walking, someone is keeping him upright
told my mom there are some things that will never be explained in life, he's only a messanger, helper, not the healer,
super nice guy i think
a doctor Ahuga out of the sience building down there in milwakee
if he's like anything else in life he's done he'll probably be on here soon
says its an adiction just to look
anyways, likie he always says
he's sucking air and taking up space ; - )
and i want to say thank you as well for the prayers and support this group of people give to us
thank you
Brian

it's me
can only sit for a bit at this computer chair but thought i would drop something onto my son's update
by the way
Brian's a cool kid
people know why you have kids and parents know they did good when they have a kid like Brian around
well i've been doing well
walking ok but with a walker
i have to wear body brace for up to 6 month they tell me now, but i can feel my feet and legs good now so the operation must of did well
there was a big hole in my back from past cancer and they said that was just rooting my spine
lost 4 disks in all
they did put 1/2 inch metal blocks between the vertabra to staighten my spine back up
wife says she has to reach to kiss me again
some guys got it lucky i guess
then they screwed 2 screws into 4 of the vertabra and with rods and force said they pulled them straight again and off of the nerves and spinal cord
i can do no bending or twisting for a long time
if it breaks now the doctor said i will be parelized or dead
i think i take it easy :Smarty: :spank:
well talk to you guys later and thanks for the prayers and hope
see you soon
Greg :3gears:

Glad to hear from you Greg. :TU:

Good to see that the surgery was succesful. Take care of yourself, those doctors are usually pretty much bang on with post op care.

Looking forward to tramping through some yards with you, maybe next year. :beer
