71 Buick GS Build Sheet

I have been searchng for the build sheet on my 71 GS... I have been told places to look are in the doors, under the seats, under the carpet, on top of the fuel tank, etc... I have also been told that due to the strike that a lot of the 71's did not have a build sheet included... Can anyone give me a push in the right direction or have all of the bases already been covered??? I have not pulled the fuel tank yet... Thanks

Not all cars had their build sheets hidden in them. What factory was your car built at because each factory had different places that they liked to use.

I found the build sheet for my 70 skylark under the insulation matts that are under the carpet. It was on the drivers rear. (mostly unreadable though)

It was built in Fremont, California... Any ideas?

The buildsheet should be either under the rear shelf or directly on top of the gastank. That's where I found the one on my 71 Fremont car.

My Car is a Fremont Car and my buildsheet is under my gastank. :beer
