Hey, I'm trying to finish a brake job on my 1950 special, I put new lines and hoses on, now it's time to bleed the brakes. I see a 3/8 is to big for the bleeder valve and 11/32 is to small.. I tried useing a 9 and 10mm also with no luck, I don't want to strip the nuts.. Is there a special tool that I should be useing to crack open the bleeder valve? if so where can I find one of these, or am I just overlooking something simple, any help appreciated thanks.

The bleeder screws are 3/8, so it appears yours have rusted. You may be able to loosen them with a socket that grabs on the flat instead of the corner. I bought a set of these sockets from Sears a few years ago, and they have saved me a lot of grief. They are a combination of metric and inch sockets, and they really do work. Even a good six point socket may get it for you.
Good Luck

ya thats probably the case, seems like a 3/8 6 point fits but is really loose and wants to strip it, it does have some rust, and seems very tight to get off. I would just take a vice clamp to it and put in new ones but it's a really tight squeeze.
