61 Big Buick

Howdy,

does someone have a picture of a 61 Big Buick with an empty engine bay? I'd like to see how the suspension and crossmembers interact. Side note, anyone messed with the front suspension on a 61 or simular?

My pop has a 61 LeSabre, although the engine is still in the car I do have the shop manual. Is there something specific you need info on? I have not had to do anything on the front end yet but it looks like most cars of the era as far as the suspension/steering goes.

I'm guessing that it has the same rear stear setup that most Full Sized Buicks do with the oilpan sump fitting between the engine crossmember and the centerlink. That is exactly what I am afraid of as the engine I'm considering for transplant oil is offered in a rear sump pan.
