What is this? :Do No: Now obviously its a trailer but does anyone what make it might be or what it was originally used for? How old is this thing? The wheels are big with big rubber for a trailer. I thought it would be metal but it is wood, plywood that has rotted away, semi-easy to replace. Looks to have a sort of pop-top or removeable top, kinda like a hatchback. Inside there were two shelves in the front. The trailer hitch assembly was big and pretty heavy duty for a trailer this size. Any comments on this is appreciated. Thanks :TU:
I went to check this out after I spotted it last week. Its about 200 ft from my house buried in the woods. I can probably get it for free, its been sitting there for at least 5 years but I wouldn't be afraid to say 10 years. It doesnt look bad in the front when you get up close, in the pics it looks worse. I thought if it was worth saving it would be cool with the Electra. :Brow: :bglasses:

Might have been a "teardrop" trailer at some point in it's life.

Thanks Cody. That link alone provided a ton of info and insight into it. I found a forum for the tear drop trailers already and have asked a few questions. I can't wait to see what I could do with this thing.

What the heck are you going to do with it? Dont you have enough projects? :puzzled: There's probably a good reason it was abandoned in the woods.

Im going to tow it, that's what a trailer is. :moonu: Naw, im probably going to restore it and use it to haul stuff to a from Salem and other Buick events. It would be great for at the shows. Enough projects? Your forgetting one thing Jason, im young! :pp Good reason, just like a good reason a GS 455 sits in a field for 20 years? :Do No:

Looks like a larger version of this one. I saw it at show in Bobcaygeon, Ontario, this past summer.

It looks a little too large for a tear drop design, my Dad made them for several years in the 40s. Looks more like a copy cat of that design. Would be interested to see what's inside, and look out!
