just ordered my new rims

just ordered them directly through centerline for my 65 skylark conv. i got 17 x 7's with 4.5 b.s. for the front and 17 x 8's with 5.0 b.s. for the rear. they were reasonabl also, 199.00 for the 7's and 209.00 for the 8's. the web site went up 100.00 per rim in the past week so i called them and they still said they were around 200 ea. so i ordered them before they changed there minds. i am going to run 225 45 17 and either 255 45 17 or 245 45 17 on the rear. the goodyear f1 tires seem good and the tire rack has a great price on them. now won't the 4 wheel drums look silly behind these big 5 spoke wheels. i better at least put on the front disc's.

i will try, i'm not that good with moving pictures around. they are the sundance retro's. go to there web site, hit buy online, chose chevelle for application and the page will come up. they are towards the bottom. the online price went up but they didn't mention it when i ordered? i won't have tires until after the new year anyways.

well i got my rims, got them with in 2 - 3 weeks after ordering and the rears were custom. i got 2 rear tires also. the tires are 255 45 17 goodyear f1's. the rear rims are 17 x 8 with 5" of back spacing and they fit like a glove on the 65 skylark. i found 1 on ebay for 100.00, i got the other one from the tire rack for 213.00. once i get the fronts i will take some pictures and try to post. just wanted to let you know that they fit really well. centerline was reasonably priced and great to deal with.

i finally got some pictures that should fit on this web site of my car. it was getting dark out so here it is with the 17's on it. just put in a 1 1/4 front swaybar also.
