This is my first car!....1977, a few months before I turned 16, I bought this GS for $50 from my friends older brother.... It had a bad 425, and a MAACO paint job. I spent the next 3 years rebuilding the car. It was wrecked in 1982 :ball:
I really miss that car....

I have to kick a 68 F85 oldsmobile out of my garage first.. My buddy doesn't seem to understand that he has to work on it in order to get done...But I am not going to ruin a friendship because of it.. It is out of the garage by spring then mine is going on the rotisserie.. It is a 1971 Stage1.. It just kills me to see it outside!!! But a little more time won't hurt it.. It was outside after being painted for a number of years..It is atleast covered now... The body work was terrible to say the least..!!! Can you say overspray!!!! Thanks for your input!! Randy.

My first Buick, a '71 circa '83 or '84. Wife's grandmother bought it new. Sold it to Jane in '80 to use for university. I bought it from her in '82.
Not sure what gold is on it. I believe the car was Sandpiper Beige as new, possibly a vinyl roof. Grandmother didn't like the colour so it was painted top & bottom. I picked it up & had the bottom repainted.
22K miles on it when I sold it.

My pride and joy, '72 Riviera ready to hit the road this summer :Brow:
This is the first pic i took of the car after i got it. Since then, i have got a new and better set of rally whells and center cap's. Also got a hold on a "new" dash from a '73 riviera, with the am/fm radio w/8 track and speed alert, that the plastic was good, since mine was all broken up after many years in the hot California sun. Have also installed the rear window defogger:Brow:
Last winter, the car got a new set of springs and KYB Gas-a-Just Shocks front and back.

When i was going to strip down the intake and all the other parts, i did find on the internet a product called "strip all" that somebody here in norway was selling. Great product that removes paint, rust and other crap he he.. saved me many days of work.
