View Full Version : Uncle passed away....(please read)

Another death in the family. My uncle Teddy Hagan died from fluid on his lungs last night in MS. He and my Aunt Reba have been livin' in an assisted living facility since Katrina flooded their hom in Metairie, LA. He was 80 yrs old and a master plumber and decorated vet who was always there for me when I had car trouble. He was lookin forward to getting into his FEMA trailer this week, but they did not deliver a ADA ( disabled accessable ) trailer, bt a regular one. This was a great blow to both my unc and aunt as they were ready to move back near their home I remember them building as akid. My aunt Reba is my Maw Maw's twin sister and I have always head great fondness for her. We always went to their house for Mardi Gras since she lived right off the route. They always had large cookouts for the entire neighborhood.She is very ill and suffering from dementia. This will surely be the last straw for her as she has lost her will to fight with all that has happened lately. She wasn't even able to attend my wedding last month which had her greatly upset. Please keep them in you thoughts and prayers. I'm worried of what will be next..... :ball:

Jason, this is certainly your year for ups and downs! I'm praying hard for you, for a nice un-eventful 2006. A lot of us would like to have that happen, too.

Hello Jason-My thoughts go out for you & your Uncle.You say he's was a Decorated Vet-WWII Vet?
Just curious if you know what outfit he served with.

Off-hand no. ,But Will find out when I can get ahold of mycousin. I do know he was very active in the local legion hall. Thanx for your thoughts. A new year is around the corner..... :confused:
