That car sounded mean as hell. Much better than the quality of the video. I was getting psyched to see some serious video and was a bit let down, but good kill anyhow.

P.S. Could you please turn the rap down? :error: Thanks. :TU:

Can't say I disagree, it was after 1:00AM when this happened tho, and there aren't too many people out walking around that late. I've been there as early as 9PM before, it's stricly cruising that early, some summer nights there are people lining the streets watching what's goin on!

Sorry, I guess I'm one of those misinformed (thank God) people who thinks it all sounds the same. :gt:

I had a press operator at one time that listened to it.

Yeah, actually there's a reason why that _was_ there.....

When I visit sites from work, I use lynx, which is a text based web browser that is used thru a telnet connection. The browser resides on a PC at my house that I access thru my broadband connection w/static IP.

Lynx doesn't like the "FILE ATTACH" option that's turned on here on v8buick.com, so I need to attach a small file when I post the message, then I edit it the message as soon as I post it, and delete the attachment. I guess I didn't get back in and delete it fast enough this time :-)

Yeah, Other than it being on a city street I liked the video! The car sounded real mean, and had some pretty hard pulls. What kind of Ecplise was that in the vid? Wonder how much turbo he was runnin...

That is not only criminal, it is CRAZY to be doing that on a narrow crowded street with parked cars on both sides. I'd like to see them arrested, jailed and the keys thrown away! And take the "music" with them. See Street Racing here in this thread.

I was driving the car in that video. I know a lot of you guys don't condone street racing, and I knew this video probably wouldn't get the best reaction. In my defense, this video was taken late at night when there were no crowds lining the streets, and the speeds aren't what they seem from the video. As for the rap, I never play that in the car, but unfortunately my friend who made the video thought the rap sounded better than the exhaust note (my favorite part of the video, IMO). I'll try to get some more videos of the car after I get my disc brake conversion and tranny swap completed, and don't worry guys, this time it will be on a track.

Yeah, sure! A modified 455 in a race was just creeping along very safely. Umm hmm. Any other tall tales you'd like to tell?

Ok, let's see here.....

2.56 gears
TH350
P245-60-14's (Yes, it had shorter than stock sized tires at the time...)
shifting around 5k........

That means catching up to the turbo shadow and racing the eclipse we must have run up to a blistering 52-53 MPH...
