Hi! is anyone going to Lead East this year? I went last year for the first time and it was a blast!! This year I think the cars can be as new as 1971. I didn't take my car last year, but I'm definitely takin' it this year!!

I've been going to Lead East since about '97. I enjoy it every year: drink beer, stroll around, scope the crazies, eyeball the tin. You going to have your car in the show or out in the lot?

Last year my In-laws took care of the reservations. We stayed at the Summerfield Suites about 3 minutes away. He had his '49 Merc in the Kraft lot. Our club EZ Rods of South Jersey had a big set-up next to the tennis courts on the grassy knoll (nowhere near any book depositories). As of now, I'm booked at the Summerfield suites, but I think I'm going to try to get a room at the Hilton (won't have to worry about drivin' after a full day of mass-consumption). Love your avatar!! Absolutely love the '59s!
Hoping to get one someday...Your isn't the red one I ogled at all weekend at LE last year, is it?

No- that's my buddy Joe's car- he has 10 more at home. I had a rather thrilling ride in it to the gas station... thrilling for me: my '59 has been in pieces for many years now.
The avatar I made a few years ago for here, and it somehow got 'drafted' into V8Buick's permanent avatar file.
I drive up to LE for the day only. 1 day works for me; I twirl around a few times as it is.

Just got done shoveling(14" and still coming down). We were on the top of the little hill directly in front of where his car was! A couple of our cars were the red and white '63 Vette (with Coca-Cola trailer), white '58 Impala convertable, red '63 Impala,
yellow '34 Ford. Our club is a street rod club-(about 50 members)I'm the only Buick that I know of. I've got a '50 4 door sedan, white with pearl overcoat, shaved, nosed, decked, on a lowered '65 Wildcat chassis( 401 nailhead, TH400). Trying to get a good pic to use as an avatar...Maybe after the snow melts...
