Patrick,
I started a new life in Hastings, at the Regional Center out there, which I believe it is closed now or is privately funded instead of state funded. Best 30 days of my life!

I'm slated for surgery tommorrow at noon. The seriousness is greater than I expected. My final hope is at least to get my skylark put together before my time is up and at least make it to the Nats. at least once to meet everyone and at least make a 10 second + pass at least once. :3gears: If not it was'nt ment to be.
Thanks for all your support!

No Patrick,
Brian East in Lincoln. They're installing a tracheotomy so they can investigate the tumor. My wind pipe is 99% blocked by the tumor. Plus it's in the lymph nodes also. From there I think it will be on to St. Elizabeths for the major surgery. Just really overwelmed with all that went on today. Possibly could loose my voice box which I'm not really thrilled about. It's in the LORD's hands now from where I stand.
Thanks Pat,

Robert,
Brian East is on 48th and St. Elizabeth's is in Lincoln too. There was also a hospital in Omaha that was mentioned but can't remember which one it was. He said they specialize in this type of surgery. Not sure it goes from here after tommorrow? Will keep you posted!
Thanks

Tim,

I am praying for God's touch in this surgery and also for the specialists and surgeons to be under direction and guidance from Almighty God. Our Father is the Great Physician! I pray that the Holy Spirit engulfs you and your family members with strength and comfort as only He can. Will continue to intercede and lift up your situation to a loving Holy Father in the name of his precious son Jesus Christ! I want to encourage believers here to pray for you. Please have someone keep us posted on the developments.

Thanks To All,
Got home this evening from Lincoln. Have a trach. now whiich really is hard getting to. The oncologist and radiologist want a pet scan of the chest area to see if it has progressed down to the lung area. The throat area is a cat.4 cancer. The rest is unknown. Go back Tues. for more yak yak between docs. :spank: Right now it looks like a solid 2 weeks of Kemo. and Rad. which they says is pretty rough in itself. Seems like Kemo and Rad. kill a person faster than cancer itself. Thanks for all your support people. Eric and Greg I have your # in my cell phone. Thanks

Tim, Its good to hear that things went good this week for you. A freind of our parents went through kemo about a year ago. It made him feal sick alot but it helped him overcome his cancer (in remission anyway). Now he's like nothing happened to him. Good luck with the scan of your chest area. I'll pray that it comes back clear.

Thanks Mark,
After today the ball starts rolling next week. Starting with Chemo. first round. 3weeks later round 2 of chemo, then 7 solid weeks of chemo./radiation 5 days a week. Not looking foward to loosing the hair and getting sick. Told the Doc. today seems to me that cure kills more people than the cancer from what I've seen. :Dou: At peace either way it goes. The dream still remains the same, The GS Nats. in a 65 Skylark, 401 4spd. powered. :3gears: :Brow:
Low to mid 10's hopefully to start. :3gears: :3gears: :3gears:

Tim, never give up hope never. It is the fuel that keeps faith alive and you need that faith to defeat this. No one but you can keep this hope alive and we will never let you waiver here. I know besides me there are some on this thread that will be here for you 24/7. You talk we will listen and hold you up.
I am feeling led here to tell you to send me a personal e-mail through this board with your e-mail address and I will send you mine and my phone number in case you ever need to talk, ever.

Yesterday I finnally got the first round of chemo. So far no problems with nausea or diarea. Just a little wobbly going to the truck afterwards. The Oncologist seems to think the hair will all be gone by the end of the week. We'll see. Thanks to all for your prayers. They are felt daily! May God bless you in all that do! The love of the Lord surpasses all understanding.
