Gary, back in 83 I had a 77 Rabbit (don't laugh too hard, high school car) that I lost in a snowstorm. Parked it on the south side of the houses in the afternoon, went out in the morning and no car to be found. Had to dig for 2 day to get it out!! Wish I had a pic of it. My daughter doesn't believe that we used to have winters around here. Hit near 70* today.

This is my '70 GS 455, 4-speed (originally a 3-speed manual) convertible a few years ago. Now the car is completely apart in the garage being restored. Hopefully, it will be back on the road by the summer of '07.

The "ice Buick" in the pics is all apart in my garage as well, but about the only things I can salvage are the tub and maybe an inner wheel well. Frame is junk, been welded a few times in the back, I scored 2 more frames but both need work, will most likely be having to section a new front to a solid frame, that slowed the project down a lot. Also do not have my rotesserie complete to put the body on, so the project stalled a few years back. Been parts scrounging all along though. Convertible frames without rot are SCARSE here in the northcountry, see how we suffer ???

BUT. low crime, not as many rules, lots of space...so its a trade off.
