.my old computer puked back in november,bought a new one...good to be back in touch with the board!!! here is the update on what i can do for you.also check out my post in the vendor section.
#1 is a brand new late model PG260 delco perm.magnet gear reduction model.weight is about 9lbs,and is about 3/4the size of a conventional starter,and this aids in clearance of headers,oil pans,etc.this is actually a marine certified unit w/new mounting bolts .price shipped to you would be $135.00
#2 the old standby;send me your numbers matching unit for complete rebuild with,new copper(some were aluminum!)field coils,rewound armature with welded communtator,oversize ground leads(diesel),new copper clevite bushings,new brushes w/holders,hardware,and the h.d. 132 turn U.S.A. made solenoid. ship to me post paid,i ship back to you$115.00
