Really nice day here in southern Ont finally. It's only been 7 friggin months. Anyway, I had the day off and got around to putting the QT Pro's and some doggies on. Thought I'd share a couple of pic's.
Man the Hoosiers bite with the dog's on there!

It's pretty well known among my friends that I don't really "prefer" the 70'-72' cars BUT................ That look with the dog dishes and the black top offset by the painted black wheels looks REALLYYYYYYYYYYYYYY GOOD. You have every right to be proud.

Jim looking at your car is nearly like looking at twin to mine. I had some QTs on mine 295-50-15 and they most surely had some bite, but they were a little noisy going down the road. Nice looking set up.
Thanks Rick

Many thanks to all the kind reply's. The dog dish look has really grown on me in the last year or so. I've kept the original rally's as well, I'll put them on for the odd car show ect... then if I feel like hunting, I throw the dogs on.
Glen, the colour is supposed to be 71 Burnished cinnimon. But looking at some of the other cars in this colour, maybe my painter had 1 too many root beers

Hey Jimmy. You really have that GS leaning more to the "street machine" side of things as opposed to the modified stocker look.Anyway, looks real good..better than before actually IMO.Later,Tony.

Well the hubcaps are stock. Stock suspension, brakes, interior, roof, hood, shifter. What more do you want? Well....maybe the fuel system is a touch modified. Did I mention the hub caps are stock :puzzled: Now, off to order my new stock chrome "Streemachine" emblems. :puzzled:

Thanks for the pics Jim. Real nice! No stress but if your ever get a round to posting a pic or two of your fuel tank sump /pump/filter setup I would appreciate it. I'm still looking for ideas on setting mine up for my future stage 2.

Gerry, that would be Mr. CHUCK NAIMAN on the the dealer emblem. They were out of Tulsa Oklahoma. Made in Freemont and shipped to Chuck's.

Jim,
What size is your wheel/tire combo. In my opinion, you have achieved just the right look :TU:

Todd, a little varsol and a clean rag for the letters.
Rich, thanks, the Hoosiers are 27" x 11.5" QT's on a 15"x8" OEM rim from Stockton. Fronts are 215/70/15's Goodyears.

Well I decided to throw some trim rings on with the dog dishes. My buddy thinks this makes the car look a little more "undercover". What do you guy's think?
