Hello. There were no Canadian cars with kph until the mid 70s. I don`t know about European ones but I would bet no. Here in Canada when the speed signs went to metric(kph) and you had an older car in mph you could buy small round stickers that you placed on the speedometer in several places to convert. Most people now who have been driving for some time know the approximate speeds. John
John,in europe they were in KM/H i`ve seen it on a friends 66 skylark GS,he had a 200 speedo on it. Thanks
Get on ebay and go to the australian website, youll find it, i bought one for my AMX, and everyone said...never made it etc...it will take some atience, but you will find it, they exported skylarks as knock downs to Australia..........let the beating begin....lol
Will be looking for one on ebay Australia thanks,in the meantime if anyone on the board has or knows anyone who has one and is willing to sell it let me know please. Thanks
George there was a company on e-bay just a week ago that will rescreen your speedo to 200 mph i'll keep looking. You may need it with that build.LOL
Is a 1968 model year speedo different from the '67 ? I know about this '68 Skylark that was used as a parts vehicle.
I dont think it can be silk screened because it has the raised numbers, the 68 dash is silver so it cannot be used but thanks guys.
I will ask if any of the members of the Buick Clubs of Germany and Switzerland knows about a speedo for sale.
I will contact the owner of the '68 and check if the speedo is in KM's or Miles. (could have been an imported car from North America)
I already sent him an e-mail about the speedo, so later today we will know more:TU: (it's tomorrow here for you, 0.35 AM )
