turbo 400

    turbo 400 out of gsx

    here is the info on the side BB tag
    70-BB-3124 on the bottom of the tag
    70BB 447 on the top of the tag
    the tranny vin says 4OH328436
    What do I have its a complete tranny with the stock convertor and wire harnes. It was pulled in 1985 and stored indoors and the car was sold to the junk yard it was a yellow gsx.chris

    It seems like you answer your own question - "what do I have? Its a complete tranny..."

    Yes if the original owner of the GSX it came out of was looking for it I have it.Chris

    If you are sure it came out of a GSX, contact Mark Macoubrie and see if it's registered - buicknut@buickgsx.net

    This VIN is not in the factory stage1 registry, but then again, I know of several stage1 cars not in the registry, including yours.

    No cars around today would have this vin. As he states it was a yellow GSX that went to the junk yard in 1985.

    Just because it was sold to someone at a junkyard certainly doesn't mean it was crushed...

    Many cars are purchaced from the salvage yard are restored .look how many camaro and hemis are out there now. Isnt SS a standard camaro now. Guess I might just scrap it for the cost of aluminum at the scrap yards now.No hope of the car ever poping up. Amazing I found my original tannny 600 miles away from me taken out in the late 80's guess you never know.
