Since I don't officially have possession of this beast yet, I'll keep it light on the details.

I saw this one a couple years ago in a storage facility that a few of our club members use, and saw that I knew the owner. I inquired at that time if it was for sale, and of course, it wasn't.

Fast forward to yesterday morning, I got an email from his son that it was going up for sale in Flint this week! I immediately called the owner and set up a time to check it out.

After about 30 minutes of inspecting and crawling on the floor, I sealed the deal.

Factory AC, Air Poise suspension (was converted to regular shocks), power windows, brakes, steering, and some other stuff I'm sure I don't understand yet.

    What a project car!!:Brow:

It is actually supposed to be a Blue Mist car...it has had one repaint in a slightly darker color. The underside of the trunk lid has the original paint on it:

The car would still weigh 7000 lbs!!

One piece at a time...I don't see myself taking the whole batch in at once. I would need to take out a second mortgage on the house. The car comes with a few nice used chrome parts, too. Some of them will just have to live with the "Smartin Touch" for a while:grin:

Thanks! I could hardly sleep last night...
