I love to watch you buick tranfer weight off the line! I really love it as at 1/2 track you come into the picture and beat the notch-back mustang. I hope you come to Atco in March for Buick vs Fords. Jim

Mine doesn't idle high at all.....the sound you hear is me loading the converter to MAX stall!!!! 1100rpm!! Thats it. And yes 40 series flowmasters off the manifolds with dumps right before the muffler, they were free with the car.

I will try and make the Buick race day at Atco, Cecil, and Etwon, and possible LVD if they have one. I won't be racing my turbo car next year most likely so all effort will be put into the Buick.

sorry I don't know how to post my own vids onto the internet. The ones I'm going to post in a few minutes is from my camera with a buddy shooting. They are loaded onto our local race board.
The site is a little slow from time to time, we have ALOT of video loaded onto the site, I'm only linking my personal car videos for here.

The first video did it for me.I really like the way the car looks and it's set up,I dig the wheels too!I've to say that I've never seen a mean sbb screaming down the track but yours sounds very healthy and with 12.4's is more like an sbc molester:3gears: .

They all work for me.. Mark, I wish I had a way to make them work for you. In the last video he pulled the left front about a foot and ran 12.43 at 106.6..

    All of that with a # 13 on his car:TU: ..

BTW Mark.. I have my eye on a Skylark that will be the beginning of a TWIN TURBO PROJECT.. Hope it all works out..

Could you guys give me a quick overview of how your fuel systems are setup? I am considering nitrous for my setup and I want the least amount of hassle from plumbing up the fuel supply.

The best advice I can give you is to over build your fuel system. My car starved for fuel anytime I went beyond 300 whp on the stock fuel pump with the nitrous activated. I added an inline electric fuel pump that is internally regulated for 7 psi. With this setup I was able to run up to a 200 shot and still be ok on fuel flow, BUT my motor is stock. You NEED more fuel then me. You should build your self something like a 500hp capable fuel system now and be done with it. I don't think anyone makes a real High Po mechanical fuel pump for the SBB, so your stuck with going full electric.

OR you can build yourself a simple independent nitrous fuel system. 1 gallon fuel cell under hood or in trunk, cheap electric pump/regulator. This would allow for the use of Race gas in that part of the system and you could then avoid having to pull timing at all, so no need for upgraded ignition system like my Digital 6.

Your stock fuel pump is most likely close to the limit already so keep that in mind.

I have a Carter electric pump (10 psi or so) that is feeding my mechanical pump whenever the nitrous system is armed. It is inserted where the rubber fuel line is under the driver's seat. I made a loop with the fuel line so I did not have to cut anything..

The only part I am worried about is the mechanical pump provides pressure pulses instead of constant pressure. Does this affect the nitrous system?
