Wow another Canadaigua guy. Been there many times as uncle lives there. Real nice country on the lake. I am actually going to see him tonight at my nephews wedding. Maybe contact Legendary interiors. I know they sell vinyl tops and they install interior parts maybe the tops too. They are pretty close to you in Newark New York. Just down the road a bit.

i had the vinyl roof & headliner installed, by a pro, on/in my 72 gs and it cost me $600 (i think). he also installed the stainless moldings for the roof & the mloding for the headliner. i supplied the headliner & vinyl roof from legendery. the results were excellent.

Contact Steve Hunkins at Stephen's Special Interest Autos in Columbus OH. He does EXCELLENT work for resonable prices. I think his labor rate is $40 per hour. It may be a bit far to go though. 614-262-8082

I just did mine, last night. The kit was $200.00 for my 67. You can by kits for $125.00 for the universal type but they are thinner material, the seams are glued not heat seamed, and require more time for installation due to the "universal fit".

With the thinner material you have to be real careful not to streach it and end up with crooked seams. Once it's glued down it's allover.

Any good upholsterer should be able to install one, or convertable top guy. A couple hours install time and materials should cover it.

I paid $450 to have mine installed by a custom upolstery shop. Looks great.
