I have one in Sandalwood, on the car. It was originally a different colour. Get another in any colour you can. Drill out three small rivets on the back. Take apart, spray the soft vinyl colour to suit. Reassemble with new rivets & it's as new.
Steve, I did try that but when I went to put the plastic Buick emblem back in the middle the paint/dye cracked. So I am back to looking for one.
I used an interior paint from www.autocolorlibrary.com. Not sure on the composition but used it on all the interior surfaces requiring that colour. Dash steel, shorty console, few other spots. No issues this far. Sandalwood seems to be a hard one to get.
Frank, I have another batch of interior paint coming in this Winter from www.autocolorlibrary.com. This is a button I just painted with the last of the paint from a previous order. Send me a horn over the Winter & I'll be glad to paint it for you. The horn on the car has been there 5 years now, no issues with the finish.
thanks for the offer Steve. I did buy some dye & am going to try the one I have again. Just looking for one in Sandalwood as a backup plan.
