Rustoleum has just released a new line of engine enamels. Unfortanately Buick red is not in their lineup but the Universal red looks close. COLOR: 248962 - Universal Red

I just bought some 73 455 heads and manifold for my 75 lesabre convertible, they will need to be painted.
The engine color for 75/76 is blue, Is this the GM blue that my local Napa parts store lists (and also Krylon paints) I can find anything listed as Buick blue.
    Thanks in advance.

The search is back on, I can't find any "duplicolor bright aqua marine metallic" engine enamel on the duplicolor web site or on a google search.
Any suggestions on where to buy this paint?

Here is a bad phone pic of my 75 original untouched Lesabre it doesn't look like a metallic blue to me, perhaps more like the GM blue?

Just contacted them thanks for the tip, but I am thinking the engine enamel on my 75 doesn't look very metallic blue to me.

Back to the drawing board, here is the response I got from Duplicolor...

"Thank you for your inquiry with Dupli-Color.
We don't have a claim to have an exact match to the 1975 Buick LeSabre. I'm sorry that I could not help. The touch-up paint being recommended would not withstand the temperature of a running engine so I would not suggest using it."

If you have any additional questions, please ask.
    Thank you,

Should I just go with the standard GM blue?
    Thanks

The blue engine color in the pic above, is from my red 75 Lesabre it was one of the last 50 built and used the color from 1976
My white 75 lesabre vert which I am finishing restoring is an earlier car and I would like the correct engine color
I'm pulling the engine out of my blue 4dr 75 lesabre this week to use and I am still on the hunt for the correct engine color (1975 only)

It looks like the above pic, some said that oldsmobile used a similar color anyone have more info?

If you open the link in my previous post you will see the correct color it is a one year only 1975 specific metallic tourqoise blue.

In the link above seymour paints shows an amc metallic blue that looks close, but it's tough to tell on a computer screen
