Saturday I picked up another Buick. In the near future it will function as my daily driver.
It's a 1979 Buick Estate Wagon. Got a good deal on it. It's not Buick-powered, but the Olds 403 is running just fine. A sounds sweet through a glasspack.
It look rough on the outside (it's been 'painted' with a roller). But it's straight and pretty solid. Only few bad spots are at the bottom of the doors, nothing shocking, just need to sand it a little and coat it with POR15 soon, so it won't get worse. At it could use a good cleaning, inside and out. Probably going to take the seats and carpet out and doorpanels off this weekend to coat everything in POR15. It's an unmolested car as far as I can tell. Everything works, the gauges, power windows, interior lamps, power seat, AC etc. Got some receipts from the previous owner too. It spent most of it's time outside, but had good maintainance.
It might be nothing special/exotic, but I love it already. Will take good care of her.

the demo-derby neanderthals would love to get a hold of that one in a heartbeat. nothing wrong with a good running car of that age that is still in decent shape. i am sure it has more room and power than some of these newer SUV tanks out on the road now. are those raised-white letter tires i see on it?:TU:

This is my 1979 Pontiac Bonnieville, My Dad bought it from an old lady who couldn't get her DL renewed for $300. Its in pretty nice shape, a few dings in it. Pretty much original, new paint, rebuilt buick 350. We have put about $3500 in it so far. Ive put it in a few car shows and have gotten 1st, 2nd, & 3rd place.

An up date on my 76. I put a set of 7" ralley's on the car, but after the 8" Cragars on the back, the 7's looked way too small. I ordered a pair of 8s from McWheels (Curt McKim) and added a pair of 275 60s and they fill up the wheel wells a bit better. Also added a set of Hooker super competition headers, so other than a bigger rad, I am done for a while

Here's my 1973 Centurion. The car originally had the rear window defroster and positraction. No other options. Since then it has received, A/C, power windows, power door locks, power trunk release and intermittant wipers.

The seats came from a late model Riviera.

could anyone tell me if an original 70's set of these rims with good chrome is worth anything?

Wow! Those wheels fit the look of this car better than a lot and I like torque thrusts(and their look alikes)a bunch. Good job on this one man. Lose the stage2 decal and most people would'nt know your motor from a stock 350. :3gears:
