I did a search and came up with little so I am starting this thread for us sportwagon owners to post up pictures. Here is mine on the trailer coming home on Valentines day. Lets see other wagons Tim
One I had until last year. Now its in the hands of someone very capable, and I'm looking forward to the result. -BC
Dave is one of the colors on your wagon the stock color? I believe my 68 was originally the main blue on yours or very close. Here are a few pics of my 68 work in progress and the link to the rest of the pics of it. I got the car from the original owners son who lived in Idaho and the car was in Washington state all its life before that. The sun baked all the paint off and there is surface rust from that but not a drop of rust on the underside of the car since they only use sand and not rust where it was located. Hopefully paint will be this winter or next spring/summer. http://photobucket.com/68sportwagon
Dana- I am SURE that blue 68 will just turn into a piece of 'garage art' when it gets to the new owner...:bla: :bla:
Where are the 2 red 70 GSX theme ones that showed up at BG at the same time. One from Fl and one from somewhere out west? There have been a couple white GSX theme ones out there also. I really want one to replace my Pickup. Maybe when the Suncoupe is finished.
1st post was accident. Bunch of nice wagons here. I took the GS/W idea from the GS/X concept. This is my 69 GS/W. Before and after. All work, inside and out by myself.
Nice looking wagon. I want to get a 65 wagon and hot rod it. Nail head.... maybe. More power and a more aggressive look for sure. Maybe when my 64 Skylark is done.
I think I'm going to cry :ball: I want a `65 Sportwagon so bad...... I'm looking forward to when our son graduates college so I can keep the money we give him every month for myself. Nice car!!! :TU:
I know what you mean I am soooo happy i waited and found one i liked I found this one through the board and even though several people on here may have felt i paid a lot for a car that had engine issues I am happy with the condition if the car . From Canada we deal with rust on a regular baisi and this car stilll has the black pint on the bottom of the floor boards and not even a trace of surface rust I still pinch my self to make sure i am not dreaming. I replaced the motor with a 69 350 and TH350 and since i got it 2 yrs ago have put nearly 5,000 miles on her just crusing and wow i love it. my next pal for this year is a 350 with 2004R od trans and 3.31 or 3.64 rear ( i ahve both difs ) and back out on the raod. good luck and i hope you fine a car you like. Just like i did here are a few more pics even with 2 of my other Skylarks the 64 has since been sold but i still have the red 65 Ken
I need to get some new pictures of mine. But nothing has changed as I concintrated on getting it running better last season. Body work this year, soon as weather gets better. Tim
Like most of us... waiting for the snow to melt. 67 wagon 340 with air, 3rd row seating. Car left the factory an off white color. I thought it would look better painted gold. My 67 GS Convertible is white. I got the woodgrain from Avery. The same folks that supply the office supply stuff.
