Still looking for a NO option 70 Big Block Buick GS 455 or Stage 1 car as my original posting outlines Thanks
Well, then, it's only worth an offer of $500, to disassemble it and start with a scratch project...:TU:
Only if you LIKE Convertibles!p Only Hardtops in my collection (I gave the Convertible away!).
I think it's weird that the '70 Reynolds car was ordered with a radio. :idea2: Maybe it's because Pops needed something to listen to in the staging lanes?
It's always been my understanding that all Stage 1's were built to go fast. My totally stock convertible has every option except locks and trunk release, and never lost a race. Back when the streets still crawled with real musclecars, I beat a 440 6-pack Challenger, LS6 4-speed with 4:11's, 70GTO 455 HO, and never had a hemi accept the challenge. After a while, it got where no one would even try. I think a big block vette could have beaten me, but I never ran across one. I got it out of Chardon, OH in the mid 80's. I wonder if Gary knew it.
