John, I have one if Fred's doesn't work for you. As I recall, it words but is not accurate, so I will call it non-working. It is clean, tho. --Ranger Aiken, SC
John, I have one, but if you are going for cheap take the broken one. I want $200 for the one I have. Fred
John.....I just bought a pretty large nos parts collection, and there is an nos tach that I understand to be a 72 version. Don't know if it's different from a 70 , but if you'll be patient for a day or two I'll get the truck unpacked and see what it is.
Chris, I would be interested in the NOS tach. Let me know what you would take for it if it gets to me. I have a 72 GS.
"Don't know if it's different from a 70" Early 70 tachs are different then later 70 thru 72's. The numbers are taller on the early 70 cars, so it all depends on when your car was built and how correct you want to be. Duane
John, here are a few pics of the tachometer....when I bought this parts package, I was under the understanding that the tach was NOS, but now that I look at it, I believe it's used. It appears to have been in a car by the marks on the mounting tabs where a nut was tightened against it. The part number on the back of the tach body is 5657334...I have no idea if it works or not, but based on it's overall good condition, i would say it does. Also included will be this 72 Speedo for an auto car...part # is 6493202 and build date is 4-1972. I'd like $300 for the pair shipped to your door via USPS with payment by USPS postal money order. If you pass, Carl has next shot then i'll put it on the "for sale" section....thanks!
Chris, I'm interested in the tach but don't want/need the speedo. How much would you want for just the tach? Thank you
